IISc's Premier Chemistry Event

Chemenigma is the Chemistry quiz event of Pravega. Chemenigma is held in two stages- an online Prelims and an offline Mains at IISc.

  • One can participate as a solo participant or groups of up to 2 people. (We encourage teams of 2 participants because team of one person may face difficulty in performing experiments, etc. in finals (if qualified))
  • Applicants can be high school students (Class XI, Class XII) or upto 2nd-year undergraduates.
  • Questions are meant to be thought–provoking and layered. We aspire to bring together different facets of chemistry and reward the participants who can follow essential ideas rather than rote memorization.
  • Everyone interested in chemistry (and otherwise!) will learn something new, we promise.
